Nicole Murray joined Aurora Expeditions, North America in February 2023. She lives in White Rock, BC which is named for a 486-ton white granite boulder on its beach that migrated south during the last glaciation.
Nicole has an extensive background in the Travel Industry which she is extremely passionate about. Her career spans over many years where she has gained experience in the Airline industry in reservations, at the airport and as a flight attendant. She worked in several foreign countries for a Tour Operator as a Destination Supervisor including Mexico and the Dominican Republic. On land, she has worked in both corporate, government and leisure travel agencies. She later became a District Sales Manager for another Tour company and managed a large chunk of Eastern Canada based in Ottawa, Ontario. From there she relocated to Vancouver, BC and got heavily immersed in the cruise line industry, including ocean vessels and river cruises, where she remained in various positions both on land and on-board ships for 20 years. When she landed her position with Aurora Expeditions, she found her passion and excitement reignited and is thoroughly enjoying her new role.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys travelling: the only continent she hasn’t been to is Antarctica. She likes the outdoors for hiking in all seasons as well as wine tasting and creating new menus while experimenting with her passion for cooking. If you wanted to know one thing about her that most people don’t know: she has been married to a professional comedian ventriloquist for 21 years!!
