Life abroad for Justine began on the island of Papua New Guinea a few weeks after birth. Returning to New Zealand, her time was spent enjoying the outdoors and surrounding ski fields. Sydney became home in 2001, where she worked in customer service and managerial roles in the corporate hospitality industry.

Yearning for what she desired most, Justine started working for the UK travel company, Trailfinders as a consultant. During that time her knowledge of geography grew, and with her dedication to sales and customer service, she was rewarded complimentary overseas travel.

With the travel bug now in full swing, she spent the next three years living in Vancouver and the UK. Her dream to travel extensively through Europe was fulfilled before accepting a role in London as a product and operations cruise consultant for MSC Cruises.

Returning to Sydney in 2014, Justine studied marketing and joined the team at Aurora Expeditions. Her roles within Aurora Expeditions have extended from the sales and client services department to joining the Expedition Team as a Hotel Manager in 2016 and changing to an Assistant Expedition Leader role in 2018. Now in her fourth polar season (Antarctica and the Arctic), she’ll not only be making sure you’re comfortable on board but you’ll find her driving Zodiacs and accompanying you on shore also.

Justine is an avid hiker, dancer and enjoys photography. When she’s not working on the ship or travelling the world, you can find her living a Caribbean lifestyle on the Yucatán Peninsula of Southern Mexico.
