Scott’s love for travel was sparked during his childhood adventures in the back of a station wagon. Every vacation, his parents would pack up the car and drive him and his sister across the U.S., allowing him to explore 36 states by the time he turned 13.
In college, Scott knew he wanted to work in the travel industry, so he pursued a management degree in hospitality. After various roles in the airline industry, he found his true passion in expedition sales. Scott’s first experience in expedition sales involved managing business development for multiple expedition travel brands. He fell in love with selling (and visiting) off-the-beaten-path destinations like the Amazon, Svalbard, Antarctica, Cuba, and the Galapagos. Later, his passion and knowledge grew in another expedition company, where he learned how to bring expeditions to life by sharing photographs and telling descriptive stories to travel advisors and future guests.
Scott’s love and passion for expedition travel remain strong today. He aims to grow the expedition market by teaching guests how sustainability will not only save our planet but also enhance the beauty of these incredible destinations. He is committed to continuing his growth by learning about and visiting extraordinary places.
When not working, Scott loves spending time with his wife and soon-to-be adult children. His daughter will graduate from college by the end of this year, and his son is a sophomore in college. The family enjoys traveling, playing games, and attending concerts. Scott has a passion for kayaking and loves exploring new destinations by kayak. His favorite kayaking memory is paddling in the middle of an ice field near Svalbard.
