Nicole is a skilful outdoor guide who has been working on expedition ships in the polar regions for over five years. Born in El Calafate, Argentina, Nicole grew up with some of the world’s most renowned national parks on her doorstep. Passionate about the outdoors and travel, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality before launching into an outdoor career. After leading hiking and kayak trips in Patagonia, she relocated to British Columbia to join the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance and hone her skills. In 2018, she got bitten by the polar bug and started working on Antarctic expeditions. In addition to sharing her knowledge, promoting conservation and introducing expeditioners to the wonders of the polar regions, Nicole is a certified Wilderness First Responder who takes pride in keeping expeditioners safe and well-prepared. In between expeditions, Nicole donates her time to a non-profit organisation, organising climbing courses and bouldering competitions.
