Melissa was born in New York City and raised in Rye, NY. A devout Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics fan, she has been in the travel and hospitality business for the past 31 years. Starting her career in hotels down in Palm Beach Florida, she eventually was hired on by Delta Airlines as a Special Member Service consultant in Boston and Los Angeles, where she worked with the elite members who flew on Delta. From there she went to renting villas in Italy and learned all about the country that is her favorite destination. She has since worked for AAA Travel in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills, California, Israel’s Express Tours based out of Boston and most recently Scenic Luxury Cruises, where she was top in sales during her whole tenure there. Melissa has been to over 25 countries and 40 United States. She has lived and gone to school in Gstaad, Switzerland and studied and received her BA in Visual Media (TV, Film and Video) as well as Journalism and Photography at The American University in Washington DC. She was also hired by Warner Brothers and worked in TV production for several years out in Burbank, California.
Melissa is excited about this new chapter of her life in expedition cruising and learning something new. She is so happy to be with a wonderful company like Aurora who really cares about their people who work here as well as their passengers.
