Rural, remote and expedition medicine have been the mainstays of Peter’s career following his graduation from Adelaide University in 1982. His passions for medicine and travelling have led him to every state in Australia, from major towns and cities to remote mining and indigenous communities.
Peter has also held placements around the world, practicing medicine in Ireland, the Solomon Islands, New Zealand, the Southern and Indian Oceans, as well as working as an Antarctic Medical Practitioner at Casey Station for the Australian Antarctic Division.
Peter’s love for the great outdoors doesn’t stop with his career; he is also an avid bush walker, rock climber, diver, and sailor. When not globetrotting he returns home to Hindmarsh Island, South Australia with his wife and three children.
