Day 1 – Kathmandu
On arrival into Kathmandu, a representative of Aurora Expeditions will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. Get to know your fellow trekkers and guide at a welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepalese cuisine, together with a brief cultural program.
Day 2 – Kathmandu
After a traditional Nepali breakfast, we will begin our sightseeing trip. We will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at our disposal. We will visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world. There, we will observe Buddhist monks and other faithful followers of Buddha saying prayers, walking clockwise around the stupa, spinning prayer wheels, or prostrating themselves underneath the colourful prayer flags to show their devotion. On the outer circle around the stupa are many shops selling local artwork and souvenirs. Afterwards, we will visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country. It is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here, we will see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating and pilgrims bathing in the river to purify themselves spiritually. We will also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is the plaza in front of the former Royal Palace, one of three of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. The square contains a collection of pagodas and shikharas. A shikhara, literally meaning “mountain peak,” is a highly-stylised, elaborate Hindu temple. The attractions of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square include The Lion Gate, The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, and Art Galleries. The rest of our time in Kathmandu is free for further exploration and some shopping in the Thamel area near your hotel.
Day 3 – Fly to Pokhara
After breakfast at the hotel, fly approximately 25 minutes to the lakeside city of Pokhara. It is an exciting and romantic fly. Enjoy beautiful scenic views of terraced rice fields, eye-catching landscape, Trisuli and Marsyangdi Rivers and spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range and Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal. In the afternoon, spend some time leisurely exploring the lake and surrounds of the resort — Max altitude 800 metres (2,625 feet)
Day 4 – Drive to Nayapul; trek to Thikhedunga
Drive approximately 1½ hours to Nayapul, and then begin your trek to Thikhedunga. It is an easy walk of 2-3 hours to Thikhedunga through Birethanti, Ramghai and the bank of Burundi Khola — Total hiking time, approx. 3 hours. Max altitude 1,525 metres (5,003 feet)
Day 5 – Trek to Ghorepani
Today, it is a bit demanding steep walk up of stone staircase to Ulleri. That will take approximately 1½ hours. After a lunch break at Banthanti, follow the trail through magnificent rhododendron and oak forests. It is around a 6-7 hour walk in total to get to beautiful Ghorepani — Total hiking time, approx. 7½-8½ hours. Max altitude 2,800 metres (9,186 feet)
Day 6 – Poon Hill Sunrise Hike; trek to Tadapani
An early morning hike up to Poon Hill viewpoint (at 3,210m/ 10,531 feet) offers an amazing brilliant sunrise and panoramic views of the high Himalayas. It takes about 45 minutes and is a 400 metre (1,312 feet) hike up to the view point. After soaking up the sunrise and incredible views, head back to the hotel for breakfast and embark on your trek to Tadapani — Total hiking time, approx. 5-6 hours. Max altitude 2,570 metres. Day 7 – Trek to Chhumrung
Leaving Tadapani, the trail descends down through the forest and we can hear birds chirping. After walking down about 45 minutes the trail goes very steep downhill through the terraced field to Kimrung Khola, across a suspension bridge and then on to Gurjung. After Gurjung village, the trail ascends up to Chhmrung at the elevation of 2,170m — Total hiking time, approx. 4-5 hours. Max altitude 2,170 metres (7,120 feet).

Day 8 – Trek to Dovan
The trail descends 310 metres (1,017 feet) down thousands of stone stairs then crosses Chhumrung Khola at the bridge and climbs up to Sinuwa at the height of 2,340 metres (7,677 feet). . It is an easy walk through rhododendron forests with orchids and ferns then steep down a stone staircase to Bamboo. After having lunch there we walk throughout the cool forest about an hour to Dovan at the elevation of 2,630 metres (8,629 feet). — Total hiking time, approx. 5 hours. Day 9 – Trek to Deurali
We have a ‘silent’ jungle walk today to Himalaya from Dovan; silent referring to fewer interactions with other hikers and local villagers rather than walking in silence. From a Buddhist point of view, mountains are sacred and holy, and it is important to respect nature, creating peaceful and calm surroundings. It is widely believed that Annapurna means "full of food" but is often translated as “Goddess of the Harvests”.

Day 10 – Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
Above Deurali the valley widens and becomes less steep. As you walk further, more beautiful white mountains are seen and are much closer. The trail turns to the left in the valley after Machhapuchhre Base Camp and it is pleasant walk up to Annapurna Base Camp. As the air is thinner now, you may feel the effects of high altitude. It is recommended not to rush and walk gently. Now you can see the one of best 360⁰ mountain views in the world from Annapurna Base Camp. There are tremendous views of giant Annapurna I (8,091 metres / 26,545 feet), Annapurna South (7,219 metres / 23,684 feet), Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail, 6,997 metres / 22,956 feet) and several other wonderful peaks.

Day 11 – Trek to Dovan or Bamboo
After enjoying Brilliant Mountain view and taking hot cup of tea or coffee we take hot breakfast and trek down to Dovan or Bamboo via MBC, Deurali and Himalaya. We take tea and lunch break on the way — Total hiking time, approx. 6-7 hours. Max altitude 2,310 metres (7,579 feet)
Day 12 – Trek to Jhinu
It is a steep descent to Jhinu. After lunch, head approximately 20 minutes to the hot springs. Soak your tired muscles in the natural hot water of the springs before returning to your lodge — Total hiking time, approx. 6-7 hours. Max altitude 1,780 metres (5,840 feet)
Day 13 – Trek to Nayapul; Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast we trek to Nayapul via Birethanti. It takes about 4-5 hours to trek to Nayapul then we drive to Pokhara — Total hiking time, approx. 4-5 hours.
Day 14 – Kathmandu
After breakfast we fly to Kathmandu, Nepal. Enjoy some final shopping time in Kathmandu before a farewell dinner with your fellow trekkers.
Day 15 – Kathmandu
Today your itinerary will end in Kathmandu, Nepal with a transfer to the airport, where you can continue your adventure at your own arrangement.
