Sea Kayaking in Scotland

Imagine paddling quietly along a glassy loch, your bow piercing the reflection of a stone castle as the exhalation of a grey seal punctuates the crisp morning air. The Scottish Isles’ intricate coastline offers a maze of sea kayaking opportunities: paddling beneath soaring sandstone cliffs that form perfect sanctuaries for nesting seabirds; exploring dazzling white beaches rarely marked by human footprints; navigating narrow waterways beneath imposing mountains that echo to a sea eagle’s shrill call. Each day brings new challenges and wondrous experiences to our small band of kayakers. Previous kayaking experience is essential and numbers are limited.

The small ship and number of passengers makes your expeditions very unique. We received great attention and did not feel that we were being herded to different activities.

This was by far the best trip we have ever taken anywhere!

Another great trip with Aurora. We are looking forward to our forthcoming (third) trip to Antarctica and South Georgia in January 2017.
