A very popular Kimberley adventure featuring exploration of the gorge country and the coastline. You will discover the land of the saltwater people on the Dampier Peninsula, visit the Buccaneer Archipelago, drive along the iconic road to the Gibb River Road, immerse yourself in the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungles and more!

Day 1 - Beagle Bay, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm & Buccaneer Archipelago

Travel along the red 4WD track on the Dampier Peninsula and learn all about the region’s rich Aboriginal culture; visit the remote Cygnet Bay pearl farm, the oldest in Australia and enjoy a picnic in this idyllic location. You will experience a thrilling cruise through the remarkable tidal flows of King Sound, before reaching our private Safari Camp, where you’ll be able to relax, swim, explore the mangroves and enjoy a sunset dinner. Day 2 - Kooljaman, Cape Leveque, One Arm Point & Broome

Today you’ll visit an aquaculture hatchery and join our local guide from the Ejai family, the traditional owners of the Sunday island group. Learn about the traditions, lifestyle and culture over a fresh fire-grilled damper meal. We’ll head to Cape Leveque where you’ll be able to snorkel or enjoy one of the lovely walks, before returning to the camp. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Tunnel Creek

Today visit the Fitzroy River and the Derby 'Boab Prison Tree' before we hit the Gibb River Road. Enjoy some fascinating insight on the Worrorra, Ngarinyin and Wunumbal cultures. We’ll explore Tunnel Creek in the afternoon featuring stalactites, secret caves and varied wildlife and you’ll have time for a refreshing swim in one of the waterholes. Tonight will be our first night under the Kimberley night sky! (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Windjana Gorge & Bell Gorge

Today we’ll explore the 350-million-year-old Napier Range, home to the spectacular Windjana Gorge. We’ll search for freshwater crocs and local birdlife. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy Bell Gorge and its gorgeous waterfalls and crystal clear rock pools, perfect for a swim and some relaxing time. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Galvins Gorge, Adcock Gorge & Mt Barnett Station

Explore the cool waters of Galvans and Adcock Gorge, swim and relax in freshwater streams and spot local wildlife. You’ll overnight by a billabong at Mr Barnett Cattle Station. (B,L,D)

Days 6-7 - El Questro Wilderness Park

Enjoy a morning trek to the Manning Falls and swim in crystal clear rock pools in a stunning environment, before heading on to the El Questro Wilderness Park. Experience a walk into Emma Gorge, a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, amazing birdwatching and varied optional activities, or opt for some free time to explore by yourself. (B,L,D/B,L)

Day 8 - Kununurra & Lake Argyle

We leave the Gibb River Road to head to Kununurra for some free time; we explore the shores of Lake Argyle, part of the Ord River Irrigation System which has helped the region fight its drought and become a lush and productive agricultural spot. You’ll have the option to enjoy a sunset cruise on the lake (surcharge applies) or explore the area further. (B)

Days 9-10 - Purnululu National Park: Bungle Bungles

This morning, we’ll head down to Purnululu National Park, home to the unique and magnificent Bungle Bungles. We’ll stay at our new private Bungle Bungle Safari Camp. Only discovered in the early 1980’s, the area, home to the fascinating ‘beehive’ 20-million-year-old geological formations, was made a national park in 1987. Explore Cathedral Gorge, Echidna Chasm or enjoy an optional scenic flight (surcharge applies) over the beehive domes! (B,L,D)

Day 11 - China Wall & Fitzroy Crossing

On our way to Fitzroy Crossing, we stop by gold rush town of Halls Creek. We stop at Marys Pool for lunch, visit the Laarri Aboriginal Art Gallery and finish the day by the Fitzroy River. (B,L)

Day 12 - Geikie Gorge & Broome

We start our last day with a cruise to the stunning Geikie Gorge, learn of the fascinating geological wonders of the area and spot freshwater crocodiles, birds and fish. We’ll have lunch by the Fitzroy River, before heading back to Broome right in time for sunset at Cable Beach! (B,L)
