Shore Excursions in Iceland

There's a good reason why Iceland is regarded as the 'land of fire and ice'. On every shore excursion in this remarkable country, you'll see this firsthand – nature constantly changing the landscape and what we know about Iceland.

On a trek of Iceland, all shore excursions are an excuse to get the camera out. From the summit of Snaefellsjokull, one of the most beautiful glaciers in the country that's also home to a 700,000-year-old stratovolcano, to the Surtshellir lava cave, nature is in control of Iceland and it's certainly something to behold.

Of course, culture and history also play a part on our excursions in Iceland. Read up on Icelandic history at the national shrine of  Þingvellir, part of the famous 'Golden Circle' and walk the streets of the capital Reykjavik to get a feel for how people in Iceland have lived for thousands of years.

All of shore excursions are included in your expedition cost. Read on to find out more about our excursions in Iceland.
