Lead by the ship's staff, the expeditioners joined in the activities wholeheartedly, making a wonderful holiday atmosphere for all. Our enjoyment of this trip was enhanced by the enthusiasm of all the crew and leaders. Mike Cusack's ability to stimulate and challenge everyone to fully experience everything the Kimberley had to offer was a highlight. He never ceased to amaze us with his obvious love and passion for the area and a very special day for us was the walk to Kunmunya, the site of Mike's 'home for a year'. The lectures by Dr Garry Darby and Chris Done were also excellent and a great source of information. Attention to safety on all excursions was excellent. The relaxed atmosphere and casual informality of the cruise added to the experience for us. We are not 'cruise' people, and were a little apprehensive beforehand... our concerns were totally unwarranted!
