Coral Princess
The Coral Princess is a 35-metre luxury catamaran, designed to operate with comfort and stability in the remote waters of Australia's north. The boat was conceived by the affable and experienced Captain Tony Briggs and has earned a fine reputation while operating in the waters of Far North Queensland, and now, the Kimberley.
The ship is fully air-conditioned, with onboard accommodation for 46 guests, including our Kimberley lecturers and naturalists.
Deck Plan
Each cabin has a private bathroom with its own toilet, shower and washbasin and there is a choice of full-size single and double beds. The chef produces simple hearty meals with fresh produce, supplemented here and there by fish caught in the surrounding waters. There is a small convivial bar section, an open dining room leading to an outdoor eating area, and a lecture/lounge room with a TV and video. Coral Princess is particularly well equipped for shore excursions with Zodiacs and a purpose-built landing craft, designed by Tony specifically for exploring the shallow, tidal and often narrow waterways of the Kimberley.
