Wilderness Adventurer

The 60-passenger Wilderness Adventurer is the perfect ship to navigate the wildlife-rich fjords and spectacular scenery of Alaska’s Inside Passage. Refurbished in 2011, she makes a comfortable base for us to explore, with three cabin categories from you to choose. Her shallow draft makes her ideal for sailing through the shallow waterways and up close to glaciers and towering steep cliffs.

On board you’ll feel at home in Alaska with a traditional wilderness lodge décor, and on the spacious decks you can soak in unparalleled views of Alaska’s Inside Passage, whilst keeping watch for whales, bears and birdlife at every turn.

Ship Life

Communal Areas

Wilderness Adventurer’s main lounge evokes the style of a National Park lodge, and is a great place for socialising, or watching the action from the bow-mounted underwater camera.

Observation Decks

Three accessible decks are fully equipped for comfort and action. The observation deck allows for over-the-top wildlife viewing from the bow; the sun deck has an on-deck spa, sauna and fitness equipment; and the EZ Dock launch platform on the main deck makes for easy access to the water for excursions.

Excursion Crafts

Our fleet of Skiffs, or Zodiacs, are boarded from our special loading launch pad on the back of the vessel and carry us ashore for landings and explorations, or zip us along the shorelines for up-close wildlife viewings. Kayaks are also available for interested passengers.

On-board Entertainment

Our team of naturalists and Alaska experts will provide a range of informative talks about the regions environment and wildlife.

Adventure and Fitness

Wilderness Adventurer is fitted out with a range of adventure gear that is complimentary for all of our guests to use. Enjoy some leisurely kayaking, try stand-up paddle boarding, or don a wet suite and have a go at some cold-water snorkelling. The ship also features morning yoga sessions, fitness equipment and an on-board spa.

Our on-board chefs serve freshly prepared wholesome, hearty meals. Meals are serviced in our dining room.
