Extensions - Iguazu Falls

In the northeast of Argentina, the Iguazu River joins the Parana River to create a natural border with Brazil & Paraguay. It is here that the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, the "Cataratas del Iguazu", plunge into a gorge of over 275 falls along 3kms with an average height of 70metres, which make these falls higher than Niagra and wider than Victoria and more beautiful than any photograph can ever capture. Argentina has more of the falls than Brazil, giving you a closer look at the falls, whilst the Brazilian side offers a grand panoramic view – you can choose to visit one side of the falls or, like the sample itinerary below, combine the two.

Day 1

This morning you will be met at your hotel in Buenos Aires and transferred to the domestic airport. On arrival at Iguazu you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

If you are only having one night’s accommodation you will be picked up at your hotel this afternoon and taken on a tour visiting the Brazilian side of the falls.

Day 2

You will be met at your hotel this morning and taken on a full day tour visiting the Brazilian and Argentine side of the Falls. You will also be given the option of a helicopter flight over the falls, before returning to your hotel this evening.

Day 3

You will have the morning at your leisure in Iguazu, before transferring to the airport. On arrival in Buenos Aires you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
