Peru is a fascinating country with an astounding variety of culture, geography & history. The Andean city of Cuzco was the ancient Inca capital and is the gateway to the "Lost city of the Incas" - Machu Picchu - the most famous archaeological site in South America. We have a number of tours in Peru to suit your timeframe and budget. Below is a sample of one of our tours.
Note: All touring is independent and can be adapted to suit your requirements.

Lima / Lima Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Lima. Transfer to Hotel Pardo for 1 night accommodation, including breakfast

Day 2

Transfer to airport for flight to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel. Rest and acclimatisation. Hotel Novotel (B)

Day 3

Depart hotel for a city tour and nearby ruins, including Sacsayhuaman. Hotel Novotel. (B)

Day 4

Depart hotel for drive to Sacred Valley. Visit ruins and village of Ollantaytambo. Overnight at Hotel Casona Yucay. (B)

Day 5

Take tourist pullman train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu. Tour ruins. Afternoon bus down to Aguas Calientes for overnight at Hotel Inti Inn. (B)

Day 6

Free morning to return to Machu Picchu (own way). Mid-afternoon take tourist train back to Cuzco. On arrival in Cuzco you'll be transferred to your hotel. Hotel Novotel. (B)

Day 7

Free day in Cuzco. There is some great shopping and excellent small museums to visit including the Municipal Museum and the Museum of Religious Art. Hotel Novotel (B)

Day 8

Transfer to the airport for return flight to Lima. Arrival transfer to the Hotel Pardo. Afternoon Gold Museum and city tour. (B)

Day 9

Transfer to the airport for flight out. (B)
